Recruiters hold a great deal of personal information: CVs, references, identity documents, visa details and sometimes health information. Omega Recruit is being designed to support your obligations under the Privacy Act 1988 and the Australian Privacy Principles, the Notifiable Data Breaches scheme, the Fair Work Act 2009, federal and state anti-discrimination laws, and labour hire licensing schemes such as Queensland's Labour Hire Licensing Act 2017.
Identity documents can be set to delete themselves once a check is done, so you keep only what you need.

The keys that open your conversations are made on your own devices and stay there. Our servers pass sealed messages along and hold no key that can read them.

Only what the candidate has agreed to share for a particular role. Their contact details stay with your agency unless you choose to release them.
You can collect passports, visas and licences securely in the app. Visa checks themselves still go through the Department of Home Affairs' VEVO service.
Messages and files are encrypted on the phone that sends them and our servers can't open them. Account details for Australian agencies are held in Australia.
You set your own hours. Outside them, candidates see your away message and when to expect a reply.
